This hotel don't accept overseas credit card for billing. Hence, i advice visitors to bring enough cash for billing.

Hotel was partly in dilapilated shape. We had the impression that the garden/ facilities are no longer maintained. Restaurants/ bars apprered shut and closed - it might be that the Hotel is closed altogheter as soon as the Kunming City Airport nearby is replaced by the new one outside.

Its location 5 minutes from the airport and the price made it an ideal location for a transit stop. The taxi meter was only 8 Yuan which is the price at flag drop. It was also easy and as cheap to get back to the airport. The beds were clean and comfortable. The WiFi was excellent. The staff were also very helpful. The hotel complex was huge and impressive from afar. It looked like a Greco-Roman palace which was out of synch with its surroundings. The inner court was a fantasy garden complete with a music pavilion, a theatre, flowers, statues and reflecting pools.
The room had a slightly musty smell. The carpet was old, worn and stained. The hotel did not seem to have a vacuum cleaner. As a result, the carpet was not quite clean. The shower was right next to the toilet seat with no partition. So once you shower, you cannot use the toilet without getting wet. Except for the section reserved for guests and the reception area, the rest of the hotel complex was in varying stages of decay. Even the restaurant/ dining room was run down. The breakfast was very basic. A bowl of noodles, a bowl of rice gruel, turnip pickles, cherry tomatoes, cookies and a drink of soy milk. The stagnant water in the pools looked putrid and could be breeding ground for mosquitoes.

Nothing!
The shower was broken, no hot water, the staff refused to call a cab, breakfast was minimal and hotel was very isolated - zero stars! After 1 night moved to the New Era Hotel - 5 stars!

Nothing.
This hotel was far from the airport, down a dark deserted road in the middle of a bunch of construction. The staff spoke NO English (they didn't even understand the word "taxi"). Our room was old, reeked of smoke, and had no windows. This hotel was something out of a horror movie. DO NOT STAY HERE.
